Quite a year...

It has been quite a year yet.again for this family and I am looking forward to saying goodbye to 2009 and welcoming a big hello for 2010 with many hopes, dreams, and changes! As I have said before, I'm an even kind of girl so I can't wait to see what 2010 has in store!

A.Year.In.Review:

January-We started off the year with a relaxing NEW YEARS with our little family, an asian inspired dinner, a movie(although I have no clue what we watched), champagne, and a fire. That's my kind of relaxation! We made some trips up to our hometown to visit with friends, family, and celebrate family birthday's.

February- Our lives were consumed with basketball, visits with friends, playing with the pups, Valentine's Day, get-togethers with our neighbors, picture taking, a visit from my KSchrey, celebrating family birthday's and the first Winter snow.

March-We had our first BIG snow of about 10 inches, our brother-in-law showing in the VA State Girls basketball championship and bringing home the state title, a trip to my parents, celebrating Easter at the beach with my family, a visit from my Kris.10.K., and celebrating our niece's 3rd birthday.

April-Was filled with trips to NOVA to visit our friends, a friend's birthday celebration, a trip to our friend's river house, and of course, some yard work and chopping down a fence around our deck.

May-We celebrated my hubby's big 28 with a trip to TopSail Island for my friend's wedding, a trip to NOVA to continue in the celebration of my hubby, a reunion trip to my one and only favorite place--RIO, a trip to Nags Head with our friends, I started grad school, and of course the big event, we welcomed our 2nd niece.

June-Was filled with classes, trips up to NOVA to see the fam, and another River trip for the weekend.

July-Was packed with travels to NOVA for the 4th of July, a trip to Florida to celebrate the life of my Grandpa, beach week in Southern Shores with Matt's side of the fam, celebrated "the girls" 3rd birthday, stayed in a place for more than one year which required NO MOVING, and the big event, THIS BLOG WAS STARTED!!!

August-We headed to my parent's house for a week, celebrated our 3rd anniversary, made a trip down to Atlanta to see our nephew, celebrated my 26th birthday, went to a concert with friends, and finished with some house projects.

September-Was filled with friends from parties to wine festivals, the beginning of dog-treat making, Labor-day celebration in NOVA, and back-to-school for the hubby.

October-We checked off one of my top 10 things to do and more checklist and saw one of our fav singers--Colbie Calliat, spent time with our nieces, I made a trip for some mother-daughter time, watched our hibiscus flowers grow, had roomies move in, went apple picking, started exploring churches, and made a trip down to Atlanta to celebrate our nephew's 1st birthday!

November-We made our first fire of the year, saw good friends, found out our friend's were having a baby girl, attended our niece's baby dedication, basketball started, and Thanksgiving was celebrated with family and friends in Charlottesville.

December-The year has come to a close. With 3 Christmas celebrations, basketball, a visit from our niece for the weekend, roomies moving out, the first Winter snowstorm, trips to NOVA for family visits and basketball games, and a house filled with Christmas decor-I think that concludes our year in review.

And I must say, I am R-E-A-D-Y to say:
GOOD.BYE.2009.Hello.2010!
