Peanut Snatcher(s)

I kid you not, we have a peanut snatcher on our hands. This bowl ladies and gentlemen, used to be filled to the brim of oven roasted peanuts (yummm, my favorite!) until recently. I admit, I helped, along with others but I know it was not licked clean and didn't just all disappear slowly over the course of a week. After asking the hubby if he finished all the peanuts, he jokingly looked at me and said "it wasn't me." Then the look of suspiciousness (is that a word?) towards me came to see if I was making a joke and if I had finished them? Obviously the answer was "no". After much joking back and forth about who it was...we came to a conclusion when my hubby picked up the bowl and said...

"Only two little things could have licked this bowl clean like this!" And there we have it! Apparently our pups are smarter than we think and quite sneaky after all. They took a little day by day so we didn't notice and not to mention, they had to get on the end tables to get them! Not great manners for pups to be getting ON tables I might add. Unfortunately, those two weren't caught red handed but we now know who our peanut snatchers are:-) Mystery solved! After all, I guess the bowl DID have a picture resembling them so who wouldn't eat something that looked like it was personalized for them?

*Note to self for the future: Do not underestimate pups. Although they may pretend they are not interested in "nut" bowls when you are home, do not doubt them when you are away!
