24 hours ago, this happened...

I get a ticket for "unsafe passing" due to the weather of "do you not know it's sleeting and freezing rain out here?".  Side note:  it was RAINING, the driver was going 40 mph, and I didn't get a ticket for speeding! So the problem?  Weather? And probably being in a small town on a 2 lane road probably didn't help.  Towns like that shut down at the slightest sound of "chance of precipitation".

2 hours ago, this happened...

Imagine the Hubs and I standing on the outside of our house, on the coldest wintery day of snow and wind blowing in our faces, waiting for the one person that has our spare house key because the only set of keys we had on us were locked inside the car by my hubby of the car we just got out of.  

1 hour ago...

this guy saved us!  I can't tell you how many times our best friend has saved us this past year.  I seriously do not know what we would have done without him.  Break a window?  Don't think that didn't cross my mind! It WAS becoming a possibility after I couldn't feel my toes and fingers anymore.

Conclusion:  Let's just say, these past 6 months have not been the greatest nonetheless, the past 48 hours!  Jealous?  Yeah, didn't think so.  DON'T BE!  So now, I can only say to myself that things can only go up from here, right?  Or am I just kidding myself...
