Slighty jealous

I have to admit, as I look out my window and admire the beautiful winter wonderland going on outside, I can't help but be slightly jealous that it is not inches upon inches making over 24" and upward to 30" that my hometown is currently experiencing.  Me=greedy?  Quite possibly true.  I looked at my hubby last night and said:

"Boo, we are only going to get 6 to 8" of snow?"  

His response, "That's actually a lot of snow considering".  

You know what?  He's probably right.  Some places don't get any snow and 6 to 8" of snow was not even average of the amount of snow we even had when we used to live in Winter Wonderland.  We were A. lucky to see any snow in the winter over the past couple of years and B. lucky to see more than several inches.  So I guess I should stop complaining!   Since our move,  I was worried we weren't going to get ANY snow because the city hadn't seen snow in over 7 years and yet, we have now had 3 snow storms this winter and one last year.   So, as we are currently experiencing a gorgeous snow fall that has us at 6" of snow and still snowing, I'll continue to dream of having a blizzard of 30" but be blessed with our current winter wonderland!
