Too thick for bobby pins.

I love, lOvE, LOVE this side knot ponytail that Anna Pacquin has going on.  I attempted to try this last weekend but lucky me, I have thick hair and for some reason I thought only a few bobby pins would hold it in. Who am I kidding?!?  Lesson learned.  I need more bobby pins but I'm not giving up on the attempt of pulling this hairstyle off...
