KRITS CUP O' TEA: An art created weekend...

I figured it was about time to say "enough with all the talk and get off your tousch(spelling? I don't think I have ever used this word in writing EVER) and get making!" Sooo, for once...I actually listened to myself and did just that this weekend! I have been dying just to get stuff up on the walls and stay by my mantra of "using what I/we have". So my friends, that is exactly what I did...

Art Project #1--

Thanks to my some of my fav bloggers, YHL--I owe the credit to them which gave me this idea. Transformed from a magazine article, and blown up, we now have a unique "M" placed perfectly in our kitchen. (This will eventually be worked on some more--larger, filled out, and a different frame will have to come in the future, but for now, it will have to do)

Art Project #2--

You know, just finding some art in my every day life. Thanks Kimmy for introducing me to the idea! Try looking for letters that spell your name. I bet you'll start seeing them everywhere now and think of me:-) You'll be amazed how almost every thing creates a letter. So there you go, a simple click of a camera and you have art...oh, and if you find a "K" or an "M"...send it on my way:-)

Art Project #3--

Now, awhile back, I said I wanted to attempt the Broadway-esk word art. Thanks to another fav blogger--BOWER POWER--and a month later, here is my attempt of words (places, memories, etc.) of our hometowns! Bring back any memories? :-) We absolutely love this and couldn't wait to get it in a frame! And although, there will be changes to this down the road--more line perfected, larger, maybe change of colors--this is PERFECT...for now;-)
