The House on Sunset Beach

As I have said before, THIS MAN SHOULD BE PUBLISHED! And I am the lucky one that happens to know him:-) Mr. D. and were talking about poems and photography the other night when I was down in the good ol' ORP and it just so happens, I actually have two that go together! I snapped this photo on my "art hopes" for the house series of photos and it goes perfect with his poem because IT IS THE HOUSE ON SUNSET BEACH!

The House on Sunset Beach

You can stay inside
And watch the tide
Or catch up on your reading
Or go outside
And dance the tide
And watch the seagulls feeding
You can walk the dunes
All afternoons
It that’s within your plans
Or comb the beach
For shells in reach
And build castles in the sand
You can fish the pier
All day, all year
If that’s your cup of tea
Or sit and stare
In your beach chair
To see what you can see
There is so much more
Down at the shore
That I just can’t list each
When you arrive
You’ll come alive
At the house on Sunset Beach
