good-bye simon cowell.  last night was the season finale of american idol and the last show for simon cowell.  it is sad to say that it's the end of an era for american idol.  after watching the show for 9 years, without this man, the show is going to be different.  although he was harsh at some points, the man was honest, real, spot-on, hilarious, and never failed to wear a black shirt.  simon cowell, you made that show.
