June already? Summer right around the corner? Where does time go? I feel like I am always asking myself that question! But it's here and there is nothing I can do about it. So cheers to June with a corona and lime in hand.Some June Trivia:
- The gemstone: Pearl
- The flower: Red Rose
- Marks the beginning of Summer in the northern hemisphere and the month of the Wimbledon tennis tournament in England.
- Sixth month of the year and takes it name from the Roman goddess Juno, the goddess of marriage. For this reason, June has been looked upon as the best month in which to marry:
Life will be one long honeymoon.
My month of June:
- Classes start up again for me which will be my last two classes of commuting!
- Hubby gets out of school which means, "schools out for the summer" and he's home! Yay!
- Eclipse (3rd movie of the Twlight series) comes out. Yes, I'll be in the theatre with a bunch of teenage girls!
- Pool time.
- House projects! I have been looking forward to this for two years now!
- Watching my nephew for a weekend! Absolutely can't wait!
- Seeing my always adorable nieces!
- Babysitting Miss Bailey girl.
- Wishing my dad a Happy Father's Day.
- Seeing family
- and friends.
