today is officially summer, well at least for some people.  unfortunately, my summer doesn't start for another month but by the calendar year, today is the OFFICIAL FIRST DAY of summer.  bring on the popsicles, sunshine, pools, beaches, lightning bugs, lemonade, and water of any kind.  Hello summer.
